Welcome to the Norco Christmas Parade
Norco, Louisiana

Welcome! We wish you a Merry Norco Noel!

We regret to inform you that the decision has been made

to CANCEL the Norco Christmas Parade

scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 4

because of the threat of inclement and/or unfavorable parade weather.

For the last week we have been in constant communication with our Parish EOC

and numerous government weather related agencies with the hopes and prayers that the forecast for tomorrow would drastically change for the better

and perhaps a miracle might happen

(yes, I believe and have seen miracles!!!),

 but that did not happen.

So… these agencies highly recommend that it is in the best interest of participants and parade goers – specifically in the interest of ALL involved in regards to safety, to cancel our event.

It cannot be rescheduled.

Registered parade participants will receive an email with details about being reimbursed or having this year's entry fee applied to next year's parade.

This is the first time in our 16th year of revival that we have had to deal with the threat of rain.

We look forward to seeing everyone next year!

And in the meantime, the River Region Theatre group is setting up for their Annual Performance of ‘The Nutcracker’. If you’re looking for something ‘Christmassy’ to do, this performance is well worth the cost. It’s happening today at 2:00 p.m and tonight at 7:30 p.m. and tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. in the DHS Auditorium.
